“ I thought the food was great, the service was friendly, and the flavour was real good, portions were average with the area, (I always want more), and prices were reasonable. We had two different dishes one was rated at one pepper, I would comment that when they say hot for spice they mean hot, so if you don’t like heat pick something that does not show any peppers. My wife does not care for spicy, I do not mind some heat so we swapped dishes, as hers was the one pepper and it had some heat alright, however, that said the flavour was great! Definitely one of our Favourite places here in Wiesbaden to date. We will definitely eat here again. ”
“ Pad Thai - some of the best I've ever had Thai tea - amazing and not too sweet Pineapple chicken rice dish - huge, well balanced, and delicious Service - on the spot, friendly and multilingual ”
“ Simply the best food I’ve had since living in Germany! Most authentic Thai food with such kind and caring servers. They just opened, so a little wait time can be expected as they get everything ironed out — it’s absolutely worth it. The depths of the flavors were incredible and the food was actually spicy when you asked for some spice! Best restaurant in Wiesbaden, hands down. ”
“ This is my 3rd visit. The 1st was amazing with great food and service. The 2nd was not as great. The food (#43 with duck) was greasy and not great, and the cocktail tasted like a cough syrup, which was disappointing. Today was nothing short of amazing. The owner made a fresh meal because the food wasn't spicy enough. Note: If you like spicy, specify Thai spicy. Haha. I chose to pair my rotes curry with The Sheperd drink. Unfortunately, the drink was very sweet, so I requested carbonated water to dilute the sugar. Thank you, Sontaya and team, for accommodating the desires of my table. To those reading this review, I recommend visiting this restaurant. Have a great Thursday afternoon . ”
“ Fancy Thai restaurant, friendly staffs, delicious food. The price is fair compared with the portion of food :) ”
“ After spending many months in Thailand, I can say this place nails the spices and blend of flavors you would expect from traditional dishes. It is hard to find spicy food in Germany, but this place will get your stomach rumbling with that great flavor. Plenty of spice in their traditional dishes, far less than Thailand, but good and strong by German comparison. The shrimp with Thai basil was incredible and paired nicely with the traditional Singha beer! I am looking forward to going back here in the summer for an outdoor meal. The fried duck was also amazing and crispy as you would expect in a small kitchen. I can't wait to try other dishes! ”
“ Amazing food and not overpriced! There's both indoor and outdoor seating and a parking garage nearby. The drinks were beautifully presented and also tasty! The food was delicious, but it did take a very long time for our orders to arrive (we were told only one chef was handling all the orders). Our server was super friendly! Definitely recommended for great Thai food. ”
“ Made a reservation to sit outside and really enjoyed the perfect evening. Sontaya can get busy and on a beautiful evening it’s best to make a reservation. They provide warm friendly service and I tried some new dishes based on their recommendations. Delicious is all I have to say. The portions were perfect for me and I enjoyed every bite. This is a great little area in Wiesbaden for getting a bite to eat and I think we picked the perfect spot. Not many things pair with Riesling during the Rheingau wine festival as well some delicious Thai food ”
